Softball Anyone? The Hobart Jaycees annual mens 12″ tournament is June 19th & 20th at Hillman Park. $200.00 team entry – 1st place is $500.00. Entry deadline is June 10th. If your not playing come support your favorite team and enjoy the beer garden, DJ, the concession stand with food hot off the grill and purchase a 50/50 raffle ticket.
All proceeds from this event will be donated to the family of Mick Mize. Mick was a lifetime Hobart resident and avid softball player who passed away last weekend leaving behind his wife Cassie, 3 kids, and a new grandson.

2010 Poker Run- Cruise For The Coast

On June 26 we will be holding our annual motorcycle Poker Run. This year we have chosen to donate all proceeds from the event to the National Wildlife Federation to supoort their efforts in saving wildlife affected by the Gulf Coast oil spills. Registration will be at Jayceefest from 10 a.m until 12 p.m. the day of the event. The cost will be $25 for a single rider and $35 for a couple. The event will end back at Jayceefest where all riders will recieve free admission to the beer garden and the Local H conert that evening! If you missed last years inaugural Mud Volleyball Tournament you DO NOT want to miss out in 2010! The Hobart Jaycees Mud Volleyball tournament will be held July 31st at the Hobart Rugby Field. The event will feature not only lots of mud and volleyball but live bands, a beer garden, silent auction, raffles, and a family section. All profits from this event will be donated to two worthwhile causes, Riley Children’s Hospitals Camp About Face and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Start organizing your team now!!!
